Although ample warning had been given by authorities, a number of homeless were displaced and have now scattered across the city. A fencing company moved in right behind the city’s workers, digging postholes, and erecting chain link fencing in sections. Using a front loader, unclaimed possessions were taken away and disposed of over the course of three hours, leaving many people standing about on the street with nowhere to go. Photographed and recorded by Jay Dunn.
